Job summary

TYLin Buildings is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join the Chicago team, contributing to structural design and analysis for diverse building projects.

You will work with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood, assist in drawings/specifications, perform site investigations, and conduct field reviews on active projects. A Bachelor's in Civil/Architectural Engineering is required, with EIT preferred and familiarity with REVIT Structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (with a focus on structures preferred).
• Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
• Passing of E.I.T. exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project team to do the structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems from conceptual and preliminary stages of design through to completion.
• Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Perform field review for projects under construction.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
