Job summary

Degenkolb Engineers invites entry‑level structural engineers to join our teams across the U.S. offices in California, Washington, and Michigan.

You will contribute to planning, analysis, and design of projects with seasoned engineers, gaining exposure to client collaborations, site visits, and multidisciplinary delivery. We offer meaningful mentorship, feedback, and professional development geared toward PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in structural engineering strongly preferred.
• Alternate path: bachelor's in civil engineering with 1–2 years of highly technical design experience considered.
• Core proficiency demonstrated in advanced steel design, reinforced concrete design, structural analysis, structural dynamics, and earthquake engineering (west coast).
• Undergraduate GPA 3.40+ and strong graduate coursework performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design under licensed engineers' guidance.
• Produce accurate, organized deliverables meeting codes and client requirements.
• Engage in client communications, meetings, and documentation.
