Qualifications

• Education: master's strongly preferred.
• Alternative Path: exceptional bachelor's with 1–2 years of highly technical structural design experience considered if proficient.
• Core technical proficiency demonstrated through advanced graduate coursework or verified professional project experience in: Advanced steel design, Advanced reinforced concrete design, Advanced structural analysis, Structural dynamics, Earthquake engineering (West Coast offices).
• Undergraduate GPA of 3.40 or higher; transcripts and evidence of strong academic performance; professional communication skills.
• Current authorization to work in the United States for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Structural Analysis & Design: Perform structural analysis and design tasks under licensed engineers to develop safe, effective structural solutions and contract deliverables.
• Project Delivery & Quality: Produce accurate, organized work reflecting standards; manage scope, budget, and schedule; communicate progress and issues.
• Client & Team Collaboration: Build trusted relationships with project teams and clients; support communications and document technical work.
• Project Site Experience: Participate in site visits, observe conditions, document observations, connect design to field performance.
• Professional Growth & Development: Expand technical knowledge through mentorship, challenging assignments, and professional activities toward PE licensure.
• Ownership & Contribution: Take responsibility for commitments and contribute to team and office success.
