Degenkolb Engineers is seeking an Entry‑Level Structural Engineer/Designer to begin a career with meaningful projects and strong mentorship. You will contribute to analyses, design, and documentation for structural systems, working with licensed engineers and project teams.

Roles include site visits, client interactions, and progression toward PE licensure while gaining exposure to seismic design and West Coast/ Michigan projects.

Qualifications

• Masters preferred in structural engineering.
• Bachelor’s with 1–2 years of high‑level design experience considered.
• Core prof: steel, reinforced concrete, structural analysis, dynamics.
• Earthquake engineering for West Coast offices.
• Undergrad GPA 3.40+; transcripts may be requested.
• FE exam passing is a plus; strong communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, analysis, and design of structural projects.
• Prepare analyses, contract documents, and deliverables.
• Engage in client communications and meetings.
• Participate in site visits and connect design to field conditions.
• Develop technically while pursuing PE licensure.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers for project success.
