Degenkolb Engineers invites entrants to join as an Entry‑Level Structural Engineer/Designer. You’ll contribute to planning, analysis, and design of structural projects with mentorship from senior engineers, exposure to site visits, client interactions, and collaboration across disciplines.

You will grow technical knowledge toward PE licensure while supporting project goals, budgets, and schedules in a collaborative, learning‑forward environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in structural engineering strongly preferred.
• Exceptional candidates with a bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of highly technical structural design experience will be considered if proficiency is equivalent to advanced graduate-level work.
• Proven proficiency in advanced steel/ reinforced concrete design, structural analysis, dynamics, and earthquake engineering (West Coast).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design under licensed engineers' guidance, delivering safe, code‑compliant solutions and contract deliverables.
• Produce organized, high‑quality project documentation reflecting objectives, scope, budget, and schedule; monitor progress and flag issues early.
• Engage with clients and teams through meetings, technical documentation, and clear written and verbal communication.
