About the Role:

AttainX is seeking a motivated Junior Statistician to support the analysis of USCIS operational data and assist in developing statistical models for policy evaluation and process improvement. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative, data-driven environment while working on impactful federal projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in statistical analysis, data interpretation, or related coursework/internships.
• Familiarity with statistical software and data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS, SPSS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of data visualization and reporting techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with diverse teams.
• U.S. Citizen able to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to federal data policies, compliance standards, or prior experience supporting government agencies.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining statistical models under senior team guidance.
• Conduct basic data analysis, forecasting, and trend evaluations.
• Support data visualization and reporting tasks to communicate findings clearly.
• Collaborate with USCIS teams and internal stakeholders on data-driven initiatives.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability in data collection and analysis methods.
• Stay informed about emerging trends in data analytics and statistical methodologies.
