Blue Origin in the United States is seeking an early-career engineer to support the design, analysis, and testing of spacecraft thermal control systems across programs. You will work with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience with both passive and active thermal control systems.

The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and detailed documentation, with opportunities to contribute to hardware development, testing, and integration as part of a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
  • Recent graduates who can start by Fall 2027.
  • Coursework in thermodynamics, heat transfer, or fluid mechanics.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, NX).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support design, fabrication, and testing of thermal control hardware.
  • Assist with thermal analysis using hand calculations and analysis software.
  • Support integration and test activities for thermal hardware.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
  • Contribute to hardware assembly and testing efforts.
  • Learn and apply thermal engineering principles to spacecraft applications.
