Blue Origin LLC is seeking a motivated engineering graduate to contribute to thermal control hardware design, analysis, and testing. You will create and maintain documentation, participate in design reviews, and support hardware assembly for spacecraft applications.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and applying thermo-fluid fundamentals to real hardware in a challenging aerospace environment.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline
  • Recent graduate; start by Fall 2027
  • Coursework in thermodynamics, heat transfer or fluid mechanics
  • Familiar with CAD software: Creo, SolidWorks, NX
  • Strong fundamentals and teamwork skills
  • Willing to learn and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

  • Support design, fabrication, and testing of thermal control hardware
  • Assist with thermal analysis using hand calculations and analysis software
  • Support integration and test activities for thermal hardware
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including drawings, specs, and test procedures
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
  • Contribute to hardware assembly and testing efforts
  • Learn and apply thermal engineering principles to spacecraft applications
