Job summary

Amentum is seeking an engineer for the Kennedy Propellants and Life Support Services program on Kennedy Space Center, FL. You will plan and oversee research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operations, and maintenance of electronic equipment.

Responsibilities include supporting design reviews, generating specifications, updating drawings, and coordinating with multiple disciplines while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related scientific field; 0–1 year of job-related experience or equivalent.
• Good communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software applications.
• Position may require travel and ability to pass a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of engineering tasks with supervision, including design development and analysis.
• Assist in generation of specifications and engineering data; update documents.
• Audit drawing schematics and provide redline updates.
• Create work orders and process workflow using Maximo.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, finance and program management to define system requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
• Interface with customers in design reviews and technical meetings to comply with requirements.
