Job summary

KBR Mission Technology Solutions in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Jr. Software Engineer to design, develop, implement, maintain and test software for scientific and engineering applications.

You will create prototypes, test software, and work with engineers to ensure product quality and alignment with mission standards. Qualifications include active TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph eligibility, with a BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (or AA with experience).

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Eligible for CI Polygraph.
• Education/experience as specified: BA/BS or AA with years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, maintain and test software for scientific/engineering applications.
• Create prototypes and perform internal testing of software products.
• Respond to software discrepancies and provide resolution.
• Generate design language and code aligned with mission standards.
• Collaborate with engineers on software for data processing systems.
