Job summary

KBR in King of Prussia, PA seeks a Jr. Software Engineer to design, develop, implement, maintain and test software for scientific and engineering applications, with opportunities to work across missions for DoD and federal clients.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance eligibility, a Computer Science or Software Engineering degree (or equivalent experience), and 0–3 years of related work.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field with 0–3 years of experience, or AA with 3 years of related experience.
• Contract-specific education/experience requirements prevail.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, maintain and test software for scientific/engineering apps.
• Create prototypes, test software, and resolve discrepancies against requirements.
• Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to user requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers on data processing systems software.
• Develop test strategies and participate in engineering testing.
