Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Junior ServiceNow Administrator to support a Department of Defense cloud platform program. In this role, you will work alongside senior engineers to administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform supporting service delivery across a DoD hybrid-cloud environment.

This opportunity is ideal for an early-career ServiceNow professional with a solid foundation in platform administration, ITSM, and basic scripting who is looking to develop their skills in platform

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience.
• Familiarity with ITSM concepts and ITIL v3/v4 principles.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II baseline certification, or ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day ServiceNow administration including user/group management, ACLs, forms, lists, notifications, and UI policies.
• Support ITSM processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Request/Service Catalog, Knowledge, CMDB.
• Build catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer, business rules, and scripts under guidance.
• Troubleshoot issues, raise complex problems to ServiceNow support.
• Assist with upgrades, patches, instance cloning, and testing update sets.
