Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services company, seeks a Junior Scheduler to support CPM scheduling across transmission, distribution, substation, and renewable projects in the Western U.S. You'll work under the Project Controls Manager and with field leadership to build, maintain, and analyze schedules reflecting real conditions and contractual obligations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely updates, and coordination with PMs, field crews, and procurement.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in construction project controls or scheduling.
• Bachelor's degree in CM/Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of CPM scheduling methodology and logic.
• Foundational knowledge of Primavera P6; training available.
• Experience with reading construction drawings and contract docs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 100% for project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CPM schedules using CPM logic and field inputs.
• Update schedules weekly/monthly; reflect progress and look-ahead windows.
• Build and link activity logic in Primavera P6; model field workflows.
• Coordinate with procurement and field teams to reflect lead times.
• Prepare schedule submittals, TIAs, and recovery plans as needed.
• Support schedule reviews, owner meetings, and program reporting.
