This is a sales development role, not an administrative position, learning the business by supporting existing customer accounts and new business development activities, including quotations, order follow-up, supplier coordination, pricing, and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• On-site in Houston, TX required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

• Available for occasional domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and follow up on customer quotations.
• Process sales orders and monitor order status.
• Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers.
• Assist with supplier price negotiations and customer pricing.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers by email, phone, and online meetings.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and suppliers.
• Support the senior Business Development Representative with new customer and supplier development.
• Monitor competitor products and market pricing.
• Manage customer-specific inventory as needed.
• Track multiple quotations, orders, and customer requests accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in customer and supplier visits.
• Contribute to individual and company sales and profit goals.
• Travel primarily within Houston and Mexico, with occasional travel to the Midwest and Canada.
• Gradually take on greater account management and business development responsibility.
