Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, is seeking a Radio Frequency and Microwave Antenna Engineer in El Segundo, CA to contribute to AESA phased array development. The role focuses on design analysis, verification, troubleshooting and testing of antenna subsystems, with onsite work required.

You will gain experience modeling RF/microwave components, collaborating with peers and program leadership, and applying CST or HFSS tools; knowledge of lab equipment and reading schematics is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field obtained by start date.
• Ability to apply core principles in electrical engineering and related disciplines.
• Experience reading technical drawings or schematics (coursework acceptable).
• Hands-on lab experience with standard EE lab equipment (VNAs, power meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, signal generators).
• Exposure to RF simulation tools such as CST or HFSS (coursework acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of state-of-the-art phased array antennas.
• Perform design analysis, verification, troubleshooting and testing for AESAs.
• Present technical information to peers and program leadership as needed.
