Job summary

MWH Constructors in Gresham, Oregon, is seeking an Entry-Level Project Scheduler to support wastewater project work. You will collaborate with senior schedulers to develop and update schedules, ensure adherence to procedures, and report on progress.

This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to travel up to 50% domestically. The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering or construction-related field, 1–3 years of scheduling experience, and familiarity with Primavera P6 and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering, construction management or related field (or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of project scheduling experience incl. baseline schedules, subcontractor schedules, schedule updating and progress analysis.
• Knowledge of general construction practices and sequences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other standard business apps.
• Working knowledge in Primavera (P6) scheduling software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customer-facing experience.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate schedules with guidance from Senior Schedulers.
• Update project schedules per procedures and communicate results to the project team.
• Review project changes for impacts to the schedule and assist in preparing change notices.
• Ensure schedules comply with procedures, contract requirements and best practices; suggest corrective action.
• Prepare monthly schedule reports for project and management use.
• Provide schedule guidance to schedule software users as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines to protect yourself and colleagues.
