Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an entry-level Project Manager I to coordinate and manage client projects through all lab operations. You will handle project set-up, receipt, invoicing, client set-up, and ongoing account maintenance, developing strong client relationships along the way.

The role requires a BS/BA in Chemistry or related field, plus 6 months of client-service experience and lab training. Based in Knoxville, TN, with full-time dayshift work and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: BS/BA in Chemistry/Sciences or related field (four years related experience may substitute for a degree)
• 6 months of client-relationship/customer service experience
• Prefer some bench chemist or field experience
• Requires additional lab training in methods and QA across multiple departments

Responsibilities

• Project Set-up: review and set up project in LIMS, manage orders and contracts, communicate details to Operations
• Sample Receipt: manage incoming work, resolve log-in issues, inform client of discrepancies, issue receipt confirmations
• Invoicing: set up delivery route, review final invoice, generate memos, follow up on invoicing with clients
• Client Set-up: request new client review, confirm sales assignments, review quotes and purchase orders
• Account Maintenance: follow up with clients, provide technical support, forward leads, forecast work
• Quotes and Proposals: initiate reviews with Operations/QA/subcontract labs, create quotes, update status in LIMS
