Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Knoxville, TN, is hiring an entry-level Project Manager I to coordinate and manage client projects through all phases of laboratory operations, including setup, logins, communication, client reporting, invoicing, and field logistics.

The role fosters client relationships while supporting operations, QA and subcontract labs, and ensuring on-time delivery across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Education: BS/BA in Chemistry/Sciences or related field (four years related experience may substitute for a degree)
• 6 months of client-relationship/customer service experience
• Prefer some bench chemist or field experience
• Requires additional lab training in methods and QA across multiple departments

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage clients’ projects through all phases of laboratory operations
• Set up projects in LIMS and manage orders and contracts
• Communicate project details to Operations and initiate project kickoff with client
• Ensure lab capacity for the work and create bottle orders
• Review invoices and assist with accounts receivable and client communications
• Provide technical support and forward leads to the sales team
