Job summary

Network Connex Company seeks a Project Coordinator to assist the Project Manager on assigned projects, providing structured growth toward PM leadership. This role supports planning, coordination, and documentation across multiple data center initiatives.

You will collaborate with field teams, vendors, and clients, participate in meetings, and help manage schedules, costs, and procurement. Travel about 60% is expected, with office, remote, or field work environments possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
• PM experience in construction, telecom, or data centers may substitute for formal education.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year managing data center construction preferred.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications systems.
• Familiarity with data center materials and equipment.
• Knowledge of construction practices and safety standards.
• Self-starter with proactive work ethic.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions.
• Basic ability to estimate labor and material requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong customer-service focus.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Bluebeam.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs in planning and executing scope of work.
• Review scope, specs, contracts, and customer requirements.
• Support multiple projects with organization and accuracy.
• Participate in internal and external status meetings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Assist with field team travel coordination.
• Maintain project documentation and procurement logs.
• Compile and update project reports and financial logs.
• Support project financial management and billing docs.
• Monitor progress and assist with schedule adherence.
• Request quotes and create purchase orders.
• Maintain procurement logs with lead times and delivery schedules.
• Escalate potential delays in material or schedule.
• Provide responsive support to customers and stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and quality.
• Apply critical thinking to evaluate challenges and risks.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
• Travel to project sites as needed; ~60% travel expected.
