Job summary

Salute Mission Critical is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the project manager in delivering data center infrastructure projects. This role involves coordinating with the PM, preparing schedules, and ensuring documentation and reporting meet client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years in project management (construction preferred), a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years in project management or a similar role (construction preferred).
• General understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Military experience a plus.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with project scope of work and pricing.
• Coordinate communication with PM and project personnel.
• Develop Cx plans reviewed by PM.
• Develop project schedules for PM review.
• Review timelines for project deliverables with PM and team members.
• Populate and organize the project folder with documentation from client/EOR/GC.
• Communicate with project team on requirements and travel arrangements.
• Participate in project meetings and create meeting minutes.
• Participate in all punch list meetings.
• Assist testing engineers with punch list management.
• Review reporting requirements and prepare templates for the project team.
• Monitor project budget and profitability.
• Develop project plans in Smartsheet for PM review.
• Review project status and create invoices in Ajera.
