Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) is hiring an Assistant Project Manager I to support PMs across multiple projects in Ohio. The role covers coordination of engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.

You will work with procurement and scheduling teams, contribute to monthly project reviews, and help manage safety plans, cost control, and RFI processes. Travel up to 50% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 2+ years of construction project experience including planning, management, scheduling, cost control, and subcontracts.
• Preferred EPC/design build and Power Delivery industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities.
• Assist in development of initial project schedule with engineering and procurement.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Work with procurement to develop subcontractor scopes and schedules.
• Collaborate with Safety to implement project safety plans and incident investigations.
• Assist PM with monthly project reviews and financial closeouts.
• Support RFI submissions using document management system.
• Provide feedback to improve technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables.
• Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Monitor progress of design, procurement, and construction.
• Support project close-out and warranty administration.
• Perform post-construction cost reviews and lessons learned.
• Act as PM when qualified and required by PM/Operations Director.
• Adhere to internal standards and procedures.
