Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) in Texas seeks an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager on engineering, estimating, procurement and construction activities during development and execution of projects.

You will coordinate multi-project efforts, assist with schedules, safety plans, and monthly reports, and help ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while adhering to internal standards.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem evaluation and solving skills.
• Understanding of the project design process for EPC projects.
• Familiarity with estimating, scheduling and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assist PM in developing initial project schedules with engineering and estimating teams.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedule exhibits for review by PM.
