Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG), a Quanta Services, Inc. company, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager II to assist the Project Manager on engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement and construction tasks during development and execution phases.

The role supports multiple projects, coordinates with engineering, procurement and safety teams, and participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience, or combination of work and education, may be substituted.
• 2+ years of construction project experience, including scheduling, cost control, procurement, and subcontracts, bidding, and document control.
• Prior EPC/design build experience in Power Delivery (substation, transmission & distribution) industry.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of project management software and processes.
• Understanding of the project design process and integrated EPC process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assists PM in developing the initial project schedule with engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction management.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Support procurement with subcontractor/vendor scopes and schedule exhibits for PM review.
• Assist in project reporting and monthly reviews; support project closeouts and lessons learned.
• Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontracts; monitor design, procurement, and construction progress.
• Ensure safety plans and incident reporting in coordination with Safety personnel.
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
