Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) seeks an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager on multiple EPC construction projects in the energy sector. You will coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities through development and execution phases.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in business or engineering and 2+ years of construction project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; substitution allowed.
• 2+ years of construction project experience including planning, estimating, bidding, PO/subcontract administration, scheduling, cost control, and document control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assist PM in developing initial project schedules with engineering, estimating and procurement teams.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedule exhibits for PM review.
• Support safety efforts and project-specific safety plan implementation.
• Prepare monthly project review reports and assist with financial reviews and project closeouts.
• Assist with RFIs and improve quality of deliverables across technical, commercial, and administrative areas.
• Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontracts; monitor design, procurement, and construction progress.
• Facilitate project close-out and warranty administration; participate in lessons learned.
