Job summary

Terracon seeks a project manager to oversee facilities, environmental, or geotechnical engineering projects. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and alignment with contracted scope and budget. You’ll monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with clients and APR at critical junctures.

You’ll lead safety efforts, manage resources, and prepare regular status reports, while coordinating with external vendors and subcontractors to meet targets and milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 6+ years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a facilities, materials, environmental, or geotechnical project to ensure safe completion on time and within scope and budget.
• Monitor progress against the project plan and communicate status to team and client.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors to ensure satisfactory service and timely deliverables.
• Estimate costs, resources, and time for project phases and monitor progress.
• Lead safety efforts and ensure compliance with the approved safety plan.
• Prepare reports, conduct meetings, and deliver work products to client satisfaction.
• Communicate risks and issues, escalate as needed, and assist with change orders and invoicing.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Environmental Science/Geology

6 years related experience in lieu of degree
