Job summary

Terracon is seeking a senior project manager to lead facilities, environmental, or geotechnical engineering projects in Missouri. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence while coordinating resources, vendors, and subcontractors to meet milestones.

Responsibilities include preparing designs, schedules, forecasts, and change orders and guiding staff to success. A degree and 10+ years’ experience (14 years without degree) plus a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines (Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology) with a minimum of 10 years’ related experience, or 14 years’ related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a large scale and complex project.
• Define project scope, schedule and budget with client or NAM.
• Lead interactions with client and stakeholders to ensure goals are met.
• Design, communicate, and implement a project plan for completing a project.
• Lead safety efforts including preparation and compliance with approved safety plan.
• Resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Identify, develop, and gather necessary resources to complete the project.
• Prepare designs and work specifications; develop schedules, budgets and forecasts; select materials, equipment, project staff, and contractors.
• Estimate costs, resources, and time required to complete.
• Prepare forecasts for expenditures and manages scope, schedule to meet budget.
• Monitor activities, allocate resources, and assign tasks to ensure targets are met.
• Coordinate with APR and accounting for oversight, invoicing, and collections.
