Job summary

Terracon in Phoenix is seeking an experienced project manager to lead facilities, environmental, or geotechnical engineering projects. You will ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within scope, coordinating with clients and APR to align critical milestones.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and reporting. You will supervise staff, manage subcontractors, and oversee invoices and change orders to protect project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or geology.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience; or 9 years if no degree.
• PE/PG or similar professional registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a facilities, materials, environmental, or geotechnical project.
• Ensure safety plans are prepared and followed.
• Monitor progress, schedule, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with client and APR and other departments.
• Prepare reports and communicate status to client.
• Approve invoices, change orders, and collections.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering / related fields

Professional Engineer (PE) or similar certification
