L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Canoga Park, CA is seeking a Specialist, Project and Component Engineer. You will support rocket engine component development, collaborate across engineering and supply chain, and help ensure design suitability and production readiness.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering with several years of related experience; CAD and PLM skills are highly valued. Security clearance may be required, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant engineering experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related engineering experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related engineering experience.
• Experience with CAD software tools (CREO) and PLM Systems (Windchill) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Determine approaches to objectives applying engineering principles and practices.
• Support production and fabrication of rocket engine components and assemblies.
• Obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Interface with project teams to coordinate technical, schedule, and cost solutions.
• Analyze and verify product design and performance for reliability.
• Refine specifications, trade studies, and system integration plans.
• Support improvements to systems and processes; travel up to 10%.
