Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Intern - Project & Component Engineering for Summer 2025 at the Canoga Park/Los Angeles area site. After orientation, interns will support entry-level propulsion projects and collaborate with senior engineers to gain hands-on design experience.

The role focuses on teamwork and practical engineering across rocket propulsion hardware, including combustion devices, turbopumps, valves and actuators.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (or similar) and returning to school after the assignment.
• Able to operate effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in entry-level engineering tasks on rocket propulsion projects.
• Support senior engineering staff and gain familiarity with company projects.
• Contribute to design and development of propulsion hardware, including combustion devices, turbopumps, small thrusters, valves & actuators, and systems hardware.
