Job summary

RTM Business Group seeks a Junior Event Producer for its K-12 programs. You will report to a Production Manager and collaborate with Producers to craft seamless conference experiences. The role is hybrid in NY, NJ and CT with two days in-office and remote options across several states.

Ideal candidates have B2B event production background and the ability to manage content, schedules, and speaker coordination while maintaining detailed databases and budgets.

Qualifications

• Sales / Prospecting experience to C-level executives.
• Self-starter, highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Must be proactive and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Comfort with learning new software and applications.
• Experience with Canva.

Responsibilities

• Research and create compelling content for conferences with industry experts and internal teams.
• Identify and contact delegates for speaking engagements.
• Create detailed programs with multiple sessions, key-note speakers and curated content.
• Update conference agendas and digital assets.
• Maintain all internal databases with updated information for each event.
• Negotiate speaker expenses within the budgetary guidelines and coordinate with operations.
• Ensure smooth on-site execution for speakers, session timings, and technical/logistical needs.
• Collaborate with operations around Event Operating Cadences for on-site success.
• Analyze past events to identify new opportunities.

Our events are located in major cities throughout the country – LA, Austin, San Diego, Miami, Chicago, DC, etc.. About the Role

Our Junior Event Producer role is exclusively focused on our K-12 programs. The ideal candidate will have experience running at least 1 program in the B2B conferences/events space and has an excellent understanding of what is required to run a successful event. They will report into a Production Manager and collaborate with other Producers on the team to create a seamless event experience.

This role is Hybrid in NY, NJ and CT with 2 days a week in the office or remote in CA, FL, TX, PA, GA, OH, SC and IN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Research and create compelling content for conferences with industry experts and internal teams.

• Ensure smooth on-site execution in regards to speakers, session timings, and any technical/logistical needs.
• Collaborate with the operations team around all Event Operating Cadences ensuring seamless preparation for on-site success.
• Analyze past events to determine new opportunities.

Salary $50,000 - 55,000 base plus bonuses/incentives/uncapped commission. Year one total compensation expectations: $55,000 - $70,000.
