Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking an entry-level engineer to perform routine designs of less complex processes under direct supervision. You will promote a culture of safety, follow department standards, and assist in developing conceptual layouts, cost studies, and material take-offs for projects.

The role requires a B.S./M.S. in chemical, mechanical, biochemical, or petroleum engineering, with EIT preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Engineering licensure/registration (EIT) is strongly preferred.
• Up to 1 year of relevant industrial experience in chemical, petroleum or biochemical process design engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine designs of less complex engineering assignments under direct supervision.
• Promote safety culture and apply safety concepts in process design.
• Assist in developing conceptual layouts and cost studies.
• Produce estimate-level preliminary designs and material take-offs.
• Prepare detail design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
• Collaborate with design leaders to ensure smooth information flow.
