Qualifications

Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering required.
1+ years of relevant industrial process design engineering experience.
EIT strongly preferred; PE or CPIP preferred on eligibility.
Proficient in process simulation and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

Perform complete design of less complex process engineering tasks under supervision.
Assist in design of larger, more complex projects.
Contribute to safety culture in process design.
Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
Prepare preliminary designs and material take-offs for estimates.
Produce detailed design calculations and construction sketches.
Check calculations for accuracy and conformance to codes.
Support drafting and cross-discipline information flow.
Travel for on-site work, meetings, or training if required.
