Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking a process engineer to perform complete designs for less complex assignments and assist with larger projects. You will develop preliminary layouts, material take-offs, and design calculations under close supervision.

Responsibilities include producing detailed sketches for construction, reviewing supplier drawings, and providing field support. Travel to sites and cross-disciplinary collaboration are expected as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a chemical/biochemical/ mechanical/ petroleum field.
• 1+ years of relevant industrial process design experience.
• Familiarity with process safety concepts and design best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of less complex process engineering assignments under supervision.
• Assist in design of larger/more complex projects and check calculations.
• Produce estimate-level preliminary designs and material take-offs.
• Support drafting with sketches and details for construction drawings.
• Participate in field data gathering and construction support.
