Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking a fast-learning, highly creative Junior Pastry Chef to lead and inspire the pastry team at all levels from production to exquisite presentation. You will mentor staff, drive guest satisfaction and elevate the department through hands-on leadership.

Requirements include a minimum of three years in pastry, a post-secondary diploma is a plus, and flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation. This on-site role is based in Valley, Alabama.

About you… Passionate about desserts and a minimum of 3 years of similar work experience. A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus. An expert in pastry production, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance. Excels at communication, both verbal and written. Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
