Job summary

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. is seeking a fast-learning, highly creative Junior Pastry Sous Chef to lead and inspire the pastry team across production and presentation at Treehouse Silicon Valley.

You will mentor staff, develop delectable desserts using seasonal ingredients, and contribute to guest experience during a 24-hour operation. A minimum of 3 years in pastry and strong communication skills are required; a post-secondary diploma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Passionate about desserts and a minimum of 3 years of similar work experience.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• An expert in pastry production, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
• Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
• Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
