operation from the ground up, requiring organized individuals who communicate effectively in English and Mandarin. You will assist with documentation, scheduling, vendor communications, and basic services, while coordinating with the China management team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Clear, professional communication in Mandarin Chinese and English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
  • Organized, dependable, and comfortable communicating with external parties.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar workplace tools.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Houston.
  • Must have permanent, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the Houston operations team.
  • Organize documents, records, invoices, schedules, and internal files.
  • Assist with communications involving vendors, contractors, service providers, and local organizations.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and follow up on administrative matters.
  • Support office and facility setup, including purchasing supplies and coordinating basic services.
  • Help prepare bilingual correspondence, forms, reports, and other business documents.
  • Assist visiting colleagues and support communication between the U.S. team and the management team in China.
  • Handle errands and other practical office matters as needed.
  • Take on additional administrative responsibilities as the Houston operation expands.

Company Overview Our client is an established renewable energy equipment manufacturer launching a new manufacturing operation in Houston. The company is currently preparing its facility and expects production equipment to arrive in the United States within the coming months.

About the Role

The Junior Office Administrator will support the Houston team with daily office administration, external coordination, documentation, and facility-launch activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and dependable early-career professional to join a growing U.S. operation from the beginning.
