Job summary

SG Inc. is seeking an energetic Entry-Level Event Assistant to help plan, organize, and execute engaging community-focused events for nonprofits and local charities. No prior experience required, as we provide paid training and mentorship from day one.

You will support end-to-end event execution, donor and attendee engagement, logistics, volunteer coordination, data collection, and team collaboration to help raise funds and awareness for worthy causes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED; college coursework in communications, marketing, or nonprofit management is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an outgoing, public-facing personality.
• Highly organized, dependable, and adaptable in fast-paced event settings.
• Flexible schedule with evenings and weekends during peak event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end planning, setup, onsite management, and breakdown of charity events, fundraisers, and community initiatives.
• Interact with attendees, donors, and the public to boost brand awareness and deliver the nonprofit's mission.
• Handle event registration, sign-ups, donation tracking, and guest check-ins accurately and professionally.
• Assist in organizing, guiding, and supporting event volunteers for smooth operations.
• Monitor attendance, collect feedback, and compile basic insights to optimize future campaigns.
• Work alongside event coordinators and nonprofit partners to meet campaign and fundraising goals.
