Job summary

SG Inc. is seeking motivated Entry-Level Event Marketing & Communications Assistants to support high-impact fundraising events and community initiatives for nonprofits and local charities.

You will gain hands-on experience in event marketing, donor engagement, and corporate communications in a fast-paced environment. You will work with a supportive mentorship structure, develop practical skills, and grow toward greater responsibilities in event coordination and account management as you advance

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong team focus.
• Deep passion for community engagement, philanthropy, and nonprofit initiatives.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and take initiative.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales, or administrative roles is a plus, but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, setting up, and executing daily promotional campaigns, live charity events, and community fundraising initiatives.
• Engage directly with the public, donors, and event attendees to drive brand awareness and campaign participation.
• Help manage on-site event logistics, promotional materials, visual displays, and brand communications content.
• Monitor public participation rates and donor registration data, providing feedback to optimize future campaigns.
• Support fellow marketing team members with daily project execution, cross-training, and event coordination.
• Share creative ideas to enhance campaign messaging and increase local event impact.
