Job summary

Kaztronix LLC is seeking a NetOps Specialist Jr to support day-to-day network and infrastructure operations in a mission-critical environment at Norfolk, VA and Pearl Harbor, HI. The role monitors systems, responds to alerts, troubleshoots issues, coordinates repairs, and documents incidents through resolution.

Ideal candidates have NOC experience, experience with ticketing systems, and a foundation in enterprise networking.

Qualifications

• Experience in NOC environments and network monitoring.
• Familiarity with incident triage and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP LAN/WAN and Cisco equipment.
• Proficiency with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
• Ability to work with Government/DoD networks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network and infrastructure systems and respond to alerts.
• Respond to incidents from triage through resolution.
• Escalate incidents to higher-level teams when appropriate.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues across networks.
• Coordinate remote repair activities to maintain service availability.
• Document incident and troubleshooting records.
• Provide incident notifications to Government representatives.
• Perform root cause analysis per Government procedures.
• Shift handoffs and proper turnover of unresolved incidents.
