Job summary

Pioneering Evolution, LLC is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to help build SyncCore and SyncPoint on a stack including C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, EF Core, RabbitMQ, Docker, Git, CI/CD and Azure Government. You will write production code, participate in design discussions, review code with senior engineers, and gradually own features.

The role is based in Arlington, VA with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience with C# or other statically typed language.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of web applications, HTTP, and APIs.
• Experience with Git.
• Ability to work systematically and articulate reasoning.
• Professional experience (internships, co‑ops, academic or project work).
• Prior .NET, Angular, PostgreSQL, EF, RabbitMQ, or Azure experience.

Responsibilities

• Write production code and participate in design discussions.
• Review code with experienced engineers.
• Gradually take ownership of features as skills grow.
• Work on SyncCore and SyncPoint modules.
• Join platform or module teams and contribute across the stack.
