Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (with a mechanical focus).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam completion.
• Basic experience with performing engineering calculations and developing HVAC, mechanical utility and piping designs.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems (airside, chilled water, condenser water, heating hot water, steam, natural gas, compressed air) per code with other disciplines.
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and design reports.
• Develop drawings, P&IDs, and specifications; coordinate with manufacturers and trade partners.
• Support construction activities and RFI responses, submittal reviews and progress reports.
