Job summary

Brunswick Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, procure, install and validate manufacturing processes. You will analyze labor utilization, equipment requirements and workflow to maximize efficiency.

The ME team partners with development from concept to start of production to ensure successful product launches. Apply Lean Six Sigma to achieve goals and drive improvements in production methods, equipment, procedures and working conditions by engaging employees and solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing engineering or related area.
• Proficiency with Lean tools, data collection, analysis and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes via detailed engineering analysis.
• Plan process flow, labor, and line balance for efficiency.
• Plan material flow and plant layout to optimize space.
• Define facilities requirements and concurrent product process design.
• Contribute to PFMEA and ensure part measurement validation with Lab.
• Maintain standard work and implement shop floor controls systems.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to improve methods and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams from concept to production launch.
