Job summary

SLB is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes and techniques using LEAN principles. The role focuses on standardizing work, line balancing, routing optimization, and training development to improve yield and throughput across production lines.

The engineer will collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing Métiers to introduce new processes for NPD and RR projects, drive continuous improvement, and ensure quality and reliability across manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in technical proficiency, process improvement, project management, quality control and quality management systems.
• Preferred: aerospace & defense experience including AS9100.
• Highly preferred: elastomer/rubber experience (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Provide innovations to manufacturing processes and techniques using LEAN.
• Implement process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve productivity.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing quality issues.
• Create and monitor KPIs for process capability and product quality.
