Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of diverse manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools and process improvement methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting software is desired.
• Basic understanding of cost accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules, MBOM structure and process flows to understand methods.
• Establish and maintain product cost standards and routings through audits.
• Analyze and provide component quoting with inputs from manufacturing engineering.
• Be SME on machining engineering systems and identify opportunities to streamline functions.
• Apply statistical methods to determine capacities, labor requirements, and production flow.
• Support new product development with efficient production systems.
• Lead cross-functional teams to review operations for safety, standardization and compliance.
• Develop costing quotes to support cost-benefit analyses for improvements and NPIs.
• Plan operations sequences to promote manpower efficiency.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment while following company policies.
