Job summary

Project FIND is seeking a Junior Handyperson to perform maintenance across multiple buildings, handling repairs, cleaning, and general upkeep. The role requires versatility across plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks, plus the ability to work across several sites and communicate with staff and residents.

The position offers regular hours, cross-site assignments, and opportunities to improve spaces and facilities for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to safely use common power and hand tools.
• HVAC knowledge and repair skills.
• Strong communication with staff and tenants.
• Self-starter with good time management.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Complete cross-site work orders across our portfolio.
• Assist with office space optimization and workspace setup.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Maintain and clean buildings and common areas.
• Move and install furniture and fixtures.
• Prepare rooms for renovations or turnover.
• Report progress to supervisor after site arrival.
• Assist with snow removal in winter.
