Project FIND is seeking a Junior Handyperson to perform building maintenance across its residential and administrative sites from the Main Office, with travel to various properties. Responsibilities include cross-site work orders, space optimization, and general upkeep to support staff operations and resident services.
The ideal candidate will have basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical knowledge, along with the ability to safely use common tools and communicate with management and tenants.
Project FIND’s mission is to provide low- and moderate-income and homeless seniors with the services and support they need to enrich their lives and live independently. Today Project FIND operates three supportive housing residences that are home to about 600 people and four senior centers with over 3,000 members. Our members and residents range from the healthy and active to the frail and homebound to the homeless. For all these individuals, Project FIND is a critical resource, providing housing, meals, and programs that help individuals navigate the challenges of aging by encouraging community engagement and healthy living.

Reporting to the Director of Administrative Services, the Junior Handyperson is responsible for building maintenance, repairs, and preventive care across Project FIND’s residential and administrative sites. This is a multi-site role based out of the Main Office, with regular assignments across Project FIND’s portfolio of buildings. Responsibilities include cross-site work order completion, office space optimization and reconfiguration, and general building and grounds upkeep in support of both staff operations and resident services.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am – 5pm
Tuesday & Thursday 2pm – 10pm
Please note this position requires the availability and flexibility to occasionally work on weekends and holidays.
