Job summary

Project FIND is seeking a Junior Handyperson to perform building maintenance across its residential and administrative sites from the Main Office, with travel to various properties. Responsibilities include cross-site work orders, space optimization, and general upkeep to support staff operations and resident services.

The ideal candidate will have basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical knowledge, along with the ability to safely use common tools and communicate with management and tenants.

Qualifications

• Basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical knowledge required.
• Ability to safely use common power and hand tools.
• Strong communication with property management and tenants.
• Self-starter with good time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes cross-site work orders across Project FIND’s portfolio of buildings, traveling to assigned locations and reporting to the direct supervisor on arrival.
• Assists with office space optimization projects, including furniture reconfiguration and layout planning support.
• Assist with electrical repairs in community areas, including lights and fixtures.
• Maintain mechanical equipment in working order and perform fixes as needed.
• Perform general building cleaning and upkeep across sites.
• Install and replace floors, stairs, and piping as required.
• Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building.
• Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the properties.
• Handle mail and package pickups and ensure deliveries are logged and distributed.
