Job summary

Allied Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Multisite) to support Community Managers and Maintenance Supervisors by keeping buildings, grounds, and amenities well-maintained and resident-ready. The role involves routine upkeep, repairs, and assisting with contracted projects to deliver a positive resident experience.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 1 year of maintenance-related experience, and a solid understanding of building systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• One year of maintenance-related experience or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied weather conditions.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service to residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned communities to provide maintenance coverage.
• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Inspect property to identify maintenance needs, determine scope of work, and recommend solutions.
• Assist with contracted projects to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment as directed.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in adhering to departmental budgets.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Assist with unit turns and preparation for new move-ins.
• Attend and participate in required meetings, safety trainings, and professional development sessions.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
