Job summary

JE Dunn Construction, part of the Advanced Facilities Group, seeks an entry-level engineer/architectural professional. You will engage in safety, quality plans, and learn to perform routine mechanical, electrical, and field construction tasks across data center, industrial, and manufacturing projects.

You’ll help develop budgets, review bid options, and contribute to scheduling and constructability reviews.

Qualifications

• Requires 0–2 years construction experience or related internship.
• Bachelor’s degree in ME, EE, Arch Eng or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and safety processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Perform routine mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities.
• Assist in developing budgetary M/E estimates from design information.
• Review mechanical/electrical options during preconstruction.
• Develop M/E scopes of work for bid coordination.
• Assist bid analysis and subcontractor selection input.
• Support sequencing and schedule coordination across systems.
• Review design documents to identify constructability issues.
• Support shop drawing and submittal processes.
• Assist with commissioning and testing procedures.
