Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group seeks an entry‑level M/E engineer. You will participate in safety and quality plans, perform basic mechanical, electrical and field construction tasks, and assist in developing budget estimates from design data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical/ electrical/ architectural engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years construction experience or internship preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety and quality plans and culture; mentor others.
• Complete entry level mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates using design information and estimating system.
• Assist in reviewing mechanical/electrical options during preconstruction.
• Help develop M/E scopes of work for bid and coordination.
• Assist bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Develop sequencing for systems to meet schedule requirements.
• Review design documents for constructability and quality issues.
• Support shop drawing/submittal process and commissioning activities.
